Ohio Has A New Modern Architecture Museum – Columbus, Ohio, is the stage of a $75 million architecture project that looks quite promising! The modern building of the National Veterans Memorial and Museum is quite spectacular!
Besides its modern architecture, the new Ohio was created for one main reason: a pledge that those who served and sacrificed so much for this country are never forgotten!
The country’s history is known for honoring the US veterans that fought with every strength to defend their nation. This museum was built with the mission of honoring not only the men and women who served in all branches of the U.S. military but also tell their stories, (which many people seems to forget quite easily).
The museum will house 30,000 square feet of exhibition space, nearly all of which will be used to explain the veterans’ experiences. To capture the attention of its visitors, this modern museum thas some incredible techniques (such as artifacts, multimedia exhibits, and dynamic installations), that reminds anyone whos watching about the sacrifices made by the heroic nation’s veterans.
The National Veterans Memorial and Museum (NVMM) grand opening to the public was on October 27 in Columbus, Ohio. This is an incredible way to preserve the memory of the millions who have served, and those who are next in line. This modern design project is led by the culmination of meticulous planning and patriotic ambition.
Don’t forget to see:
The structure of the modern building was designed by the U.S. firm, Allied Works Architecture. The green aesthetic that surrounds the museum was created by the firm OLIN and is quite inviting!
However, the interior design of the museum was delivered to Ralph Appelbaum Associates, the design firm responsible for a few memorable and popular projects like the National Museum of African American History and Culture, the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, and the National World War I Museum, among others. The goal of the interior design was to explain the soldiers experience to its visitors.
The incredible idea for the modern project came from the Leslie H. Wexner, a local man who is the founder, chairman, and CEO of L Brands, Inc. After introducing is an amazing idea, more influential people join the project, eventually leading Wexner and his team to the halls of the U.S. Congress. After a tough start, the rest of the path for the host of this incredible modern museum was quite linear.
